Where the bloody **** is this software!? I've wasted hours on this support site looking for the basic install software. I've found the 5 year old airport admin software and lots of firmware updates. But I just want whatever comes on the CD so my mom will get the system tray icon that allows her to map the USB drive from the airport (the ability to manage the airport wouldn't hurt either).
If you know where it is, please post a link. If apple only releases it on CD (which would be ridiculous) please put up a page that says so on your support site.
Jun 05, 2013 How can I get an Older version (Airport Utility to enable connection from my iPad/iPhone to my old '.11g' Airport Express? This is for use as a travel router when I stay in hotels with ethernet connections only. There are a number of versions of the Express, and we have no idea what version you might have.
Can you please provide the model number of the Express? It's on the side of the device. The Model No starts with an 'A' followed by four numbers...for example, it might be something like A1084, A1088, A1264.

What version of AirPort Utility are you using? If you are not sure, click the AirPort Utility menu in the upper left corner of the screen and then click on About AirPort Utility. Post back with the version number that you see there.
